Demonstration/Training Rooms | Services & Monitoring

Standby Power
&
UPS

Whilst the room may have support from a standby power facility; remote status indication is usually provided elsewhere - where appropriate action may be undertaken.

A simple alarm light indicator is usually sufficient information required inside the room to explain why there has been a brief electrical interruption to non-essential services.

Similarly with UPS, although there will be no interruption, should the standby power source continue to be unavailable, the UPS will only be able to continue its support for essential services as long as its batteries are able.

Comfort Conditioning With a larger facility some means of keeping a check on the essential services must be provided.

Monitoring the basic operation of the comfort conditioning systems from a remote location – security, operations or even the reception office, is desirable. This enables prompt remedial response to a problem, hopefully before it impacts on the room environment and the exercises going on inside.

Alarms available as standard on most systems may be collected together and relayed to a remote manned location.
