Human-centric space with a leaning towards audio visual
communication whatever its prime function. Usually
located in the vicinity of the corporate office suite
this is a facility designed to assist your sales communication
at a local level.
Or, it may be a Boardroom that doubles as a conference
room – fitted-out to an appropriate standard
and containing modern integrated communications &
audio visual facilities within a sound protected comfort
conditioned environment.
Alternatively there may be a requirement
for the display of equipment you manufacture, housed
in bespoke demonstration cabinets designed to facilitate
both demonstration and training of operation. Again,
appropriate modern integrated communications, lighting
and display facilities may be built in the sound protected
and comfort conditioned space.
The emphasis is on human-centricity. Comfort in terms
of: temperature, humidity, acoustics, lighting, seating;
also physical and visual access to training equipment
and displays.
The facility is fitted-out to reflect the corporate image
required by the Board.
The occupants, in the case of Demonstration/Training or
Conference facilities, will mainly comprise visitors to
the premises. Security is best maintained by siting the
room adjoining the main reception and directors’ office
suite.
First impressions count, and here the sales function of
the company has an opportunity to impress both clients and
company members.
We begin by learning what functions are
expected from the facility. What audiences will be in attendance
and what information is to be provided. We can then begin
to consider logistics and ergonomics and suggest what multimedia
devices might be appropriate and how they could be housed.
The choice of the multimedia audio/visual
is left to the sales department of the company. This is
not a standard matter for installation. It is a subjective
and personal matter, which the sales function of the organisation
needs to decide on to ensure that they are comfortable with
it and are sure that it will enable them to accurately and
efficiently project the flavour of information they wish
for both clients and their own personnel.
Our role is to then financially tailor
and engineer the requirements into the room.
The role of these facilities are sufficiently
important – whether because of Board or customer presence,
to lead to consideration of providing their key services,
such as electrical power and communications, with backup
facilities.
In the build, the three main considerations are: security,
environment and communication. These are constituents of
each and every element involved in the facility’s
construction. Needless to say, technology plays an important
role in each and we aim to keep up with its advances.
CCS manages the whole of the project works and all of those
involved on behalf of the client.
